If you carry an Amex Platinum card then you should be receiving your $15 a month Uber credit ( $35 in December). I just got back from a trip through Australia and Hong Kong, and never saw my Uber credit pop up. Why? I had completely forgotten that the credit only applies to rides taken in the U.S. Blame it on the jetlag, or just being Uber forgetful 😉 – but I just plain forgot. I had actually exhausted my April credit prior to leaving, and thought our Uber to the Hong Kong airport would have been partially refunded, but it wasn’t. Then it dawned on me…it only applies to U.S. rides.
I still have $45 to use by the end of May…which will be handy!
Both of my parents carry Amex Platinum cards, but neither have any use for their Uber credits. Since I use Uber all the time, I linked their card to my account and apply the credit there.
