Citi is sending out targeted category spend bonuses
My email had a bit of a surprise in it this morning. Until the end of March, I’ve been targeted to earn 5x points, up to $500 in spend, at clothing stores, computer & electronics stores, department stores, and toy stores. I’d basically kept my Citi Prestige for the 4 nights for the price of 3, the $250 airline fee credit, and waiting out the restrictive Citi 24 month rule. This is a nice little incentivized bonus to pivot some spend over to it.

Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.
