Virgin Atlantic almost slipped through the Richard Branson’s fingertips this past year, and by the looks of it, they are throwing everything at salvaging business in 2021. The Virgin Atlantic Black Friday sale is quite possibly one of the best, across the board, sales I’ve seen an airline promote in recent times. You can pick pretty much any city and you’ll find Upper Class roundtrips out of London ring in at around £1k. That is flat out incredible. To make things even richer, Virgin Atlantic slashed award prices by 50% as well. One thing to keep an eye out for are those taxes and fees which, when you factor in this sale, can be as much as just paying for the ticket outright. One would think that Virgin Atlantic would
I had the distinct pleasure of flying Virgin Upper Class twice last year…once on their incredible new A350– it’s a massive step up and one of the coolest products in the air
I mean look at these deals – Let’s check out LHR to LAX
These are all Upper Class deals btw and pretty much for the entire calendar
Economy is pretty great too – these are the cheapest econ fares tho and not available for upgrade
Looking the other way…you’ll see $2k from most any airport, but avail isn’t as consistent
Award tickets are 50% off as well
The biggest benefit here are the fare rules are more flexible with no cancellation on award tickets. Otherwise…the taxes and fees are nearly the same price as paying cash.
JFK and East Coast drop even more…just 52,400 – simply incredible.
Overall – Phenom deals to be had
