If you read the blog often, you know I’m a huge advocate and fan of Amex Offers, and contend that using them help offset the cost of annual fees. It should be noted that Amex cards that don’t carry a fee get targeted as well, but often times they don’t get the same offers as my Platinum or Gold cards. That happened to be the case with this JetBlue offer. Both my Amex Gold and Platinum had this offer targeted, but none of my other Amex cards did.
If I end up taking advantage of it because I’m dying to try out the new JetBlue Mint, but also because JetBlue operates some really cheap flights between New York and Atlanta where I’m based. The more offers I see targeting those high fee cards, the lower the net cost actually is, and the more the benefits outweigh the costs.

Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.
