Bilt is on a mission to make earning points off our rent as easy as 0,1,2,3. They have an extensive network of properties that are part of a Bilt alliance network that make paying your rent within the app as easy as a click of a button. But what if your rent is paid to a landlord who isn’t in the Bilt network?

Prior to the latest update, you’d need Bilt to send your landlord a check on your behalf. They will still do this, but they’ve taken it a step further. If you current landlord has a portal that allows you to link your bank account via a routing number and account number you can use your Bilt credit card to fulfill this request.

You can see below that your Bilt Mastercard now has the ability to populate a routing number and account number which you can enter into your rent portal. As it says below, don’t select credit card, but instead select ACH to avoid paying fees.

This is a very cool work around and makes paying rent eons more streamlined for those who pay via portal. If your landlord doesn’t have a portal, Bilt will send them a check as they have in the past.

    “VIA RENT PORTAL”

I don’t think student loan has anything to do with paying ‘rent”

I don’t think that was the point of @Elliot’s comment. If I interpreted it correctly, he is asking can you pay many bill types using the ACH feature of this card? I have the same question.
