Over the past couple of months, Amex Offers has been consistently releasing deals targeting hotel stays. It’s no wonder, hotels are doing whatever they can to put people in rooms, I even read that 1 out of every 4 hotels can’t pay their mortgage. Say what? While I’ve certainly stayed at my fair share of Best Westerns over the years, this is not a deal I’d usually highlight, but travel is shifting to road trips, and that’s where I think people could get take advantage.

Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.
