*Be aware that self referring can open you up to inquiry with Amex so I would advise against doing this, but we’re all friends here, so you can leave your links in the comments section to boost your own account.

Additionally, make sure you read how our site works regarding referral links as you may get rotated into the main body of this post and increase your odds of earning bonus points. Go get those points!!

Is this an all time high offer?

The highest public offer I’ve seen was in 2021 via Resy at 125k + 15x at worldwide restaurants and US shop small. That offer has ended, up to $25k, in the first 6 months. There are highly targeted 150k offers floating around too.

The 10 to 15x on worldwide restaurants and US shop small for 6 months, capping at $25k, is something I’ve never seen offered on an Amex Plat, or any Amex card that earns Membership Rewards, and is an incredible opportunity to earn mega points where you may be spending quite a bit.

Is it worth the $695 annual fee?

Great question and you need to do the math, we wrote an article on our 15 reasons why we think is it. I’d suggest you check it out.

What can you do with 150k+ American Express points?

You can fly Lufthansa First Class back from Paris earlier this by transferring them to Aeroplan, Singapore, or Avianca. Personally, I think the Avianca Lifemiles deal at 87k points is incredible and avoids a lot of the taxes and fees.

Here’s how it works with our site and referrals: do not spam post or I’ll block your referral

First off, this is meant to help everyone. So, if you’re posting your referral a dozen times a day, week, month, and trying to manipulate the comment section, I’m going block your referral for abuse. No ifs ands or buts, I really don’t have the time to arbitrate, if I see you’re doing it, or you’re flagged by another use, I’ll just block you from ever posting. Let’s not ruin a good thing.

When someone uses a referral link you’ll likely earn a referral bonus. Referrals are how I make upwards of 1M points a year, but it’s also how I can help you out. Since I’m constantly trying to use points on my travel for the site, I cycle through my referrals first, and usually very quickly I max out. I then work my friends and family through the site, and finally, I start adding your links that you leave below. I leave them up for a week and then cycle in another one. If a link isn’t working, check down below, and kindly let me know, I’ll replace with a working link.

We keep an up to date spreadsheet that lists the best ever offers: You can find that spreadsheet here.

Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.

Main Cast:

Cards that earn flexible points and should be used on the bulk of your purchases.

Supporting Cast:

Cards that earn fixed points in the currency of the airline/hotel and can not be transferred at attractive rates. These cards yield benefits that make it worth keeping, but not necessarily worth putting a lot of your everyday spend on.

The Chase Sapphire Preferred® is exceptional starter card and offers transferrable Ultimate Rewards, and pairs well with other Chase cards.

If you carry this card alongside Chase’s cashback cards like the Chase Freedom Flex®  and Chase Freedom Unlimited® or the business versions: Ink Business Cash® , Ink Business Unlimited® you can combine the points into Preferred account and transfer into hotel and airline partners

Annual fee is quite low at $95 a year + you get a 10% anniversary bonus on points + $50 hotel credit in Chase travel.
