November American Express Statement credits
Every month certain Amex cards have credits that expire, and if you’re like me, a reminder is helpful so you don’t waste them. July is a special month since a ton of semi-annual statement credits reset so take a look down below so you don’t forget to use them!
Cards in this post:
- The Platinum Card® from American Express
- American Express® Gold Card
- The Business Platinum Card® from American Express
- American Express® Green Card
- American Express® Business Gold Card
- Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card
- Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card
- Delta SkyMiles® Gold American Express Card
- Delta SkyMiles® Platinum American Express Card
- Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card
- Delta SkyMiles® Gold Business American Express Card
- Delta SkyMiles® Platinum Business American Express Card
- Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card
In addition to monthly credits, don’t forget all the semi-annual credits across multiple cards – those semi annual credits reset in January and July. Several hundred dollars of new credits just renewed!
Here’s a quick little guide to make sure you are aware of all the Amex statement credits you can use.
Table of Contents
The Platinum Card® from American Express
Every month The Platinum Card® from American Express has an Uber cash credit (enrollment required) of up to $15 except for December which is up to $35!
Amex Platinum also comes with a litany annual credits. The list is very long and note that these are all paid as statement credits and are “up to” the amount listed…meaning if you don’t use the full credit, you don’t get the full statement credit. All of these need enrollment in order to trigger.
For instance, in the past, I’ve used the annual $200 hotel credit on single night stays via Fine Hotels and Resorts. In 2021, I stayed at the Rosewood in Vancouver – gorgeous property. In 2022 I used one at the Hermitage in Nashville and my wife used her credit at the Conrad Nashville, this year I used mine at The Joseph in Nashville ( can you tell we go to Nashville a lot lol ). All of them are stunning properties.
I’d also point out that you can use your annual Digital credit on Hulu and add on HBO Max, Showtime, etc and effectively fold those into your credit. Additionally, WalMart+ comes with Paramount+

Every single month the American Express® Gold Card has a dining credit of $10, this month is no different. The other catch is making sure you’re enrolled.
Amex Gold also has an Uber Cash credit of $10 a month. If you hold both AmEx Platinum and Gold these can stack to earn you $25 a month. Enrollment is required – learn how to do that here

Delta SkyMiles® Gold American Express Card
The biggest statement credit to keep an eye on with this card is the annual Delta Stays credit where you can get $100 back if you book a stay via Delta.com. These are available on prepaid stays ( however some bookings can be made as refundable so beware ) – so if you have this card I’d keep an eye on those prices as you could get an easy statement credit on your stay…just keep in mind you won’t be earning any elite credits, etc.
